Why a Search Box?
This search box has been added in response to numerous requests and comments asking for a better, easier or quicker system to search for photos.
One reason for originally posting the photos in miscellaneous galleries is the difficulty of pigeon holing them. Many of the photos encompass a variety of subjects. This would mean posting the same photo in various galleries or deciding whether to box a photo of a boat, for example, as a 'boat', a 'seascape' or 'Hastings' etc. The second is that posting the photos in miscellaneous galleries encourages the viewer to browse through photos they might otherwise not see. I have had many positive responses to this method.
